Michael Ndere is a trained chemist, with early experience in design and installation of water and wastewater purification systems. Now working with farmers and experts in the food industry on solving food safety challenges and environmental effects of contaminations. He currently works at Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services Ltd.

Sarah is a water & sanitation engineer based on the Kenyan coast. She founded Greenwater 16 years ago in response to the need for preserving, treating and recycling water. Sarah has designed and built numerous wastewater treatment, water supply and rainwater harvesting systems since then.
Sarah and Michael discuss water sources in urban areas, including water safety, and how to recycle greywater into freshwater. Sarah is from the coast, while Michael has experience with water access in Nairobi. They offer suggestions about rainwater harvesting for domestic use and farming.
