Cathy Watson
Cathy grew up in USA, studied at Princeton, worked in London, then moved to Uganda to report for BBC, Guardian and others, where she set up NGOs Straight Talk and Mvule Trust. She is an Ashoka fellow and has been working on trees and agroforestry at ICRAF since 2012. In Nairobi, she has projects with urban trees.
Her mission is leveling inequity, making the world cooler, safer, greener, healthier, and advocating for trees, biodiversity, and youth.
