"People are hungry for change."
Sheena is the Founder of Harvesting for Good East Africa. HFG-EA aims to transform micro and macro lots to reach long term resilience, by integrating permaculture design. Her focus on regenerative business ensures long-term sustainable development, in overseeing permaculture development in East Africa.
Sheena and Michael Waiyaki explain to us how they see regenerative urban farming and bring aspects of organic farming and permaculture into the way of farming and living. They dive deep into the business opportunity of training people in regenerative farming. As Michael is overwhelmed with the opportunities present in Nairobi and across Kenya he calls upon the youth to go into that business. Michael sees already ShambaJijini food soldiers across Kenya, which is very inspiring for making a change as a community
